More Than 40 Years of Golf Memories
In the late 1960's, ice cream magnate Thomas Carvel had a dream of building a championship golf course that he, his friends, the local community and people from nearby cities could enjoy. By 1969 the dream became a reality and the Thomas Carvel Country Club opened.
Carvel Country Club, with its 18 hole championship course, is located in northern Dutchess County, off the Ferris Lane exit of the Taconic State Parkway. Carvel is a welcoming destination for players of all skill levels, with long and challenging holes that test even the most discriminating players, and an open course layout that makes it ideal for less experienced players. The Carvel Country Club golf course is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains and rolling hills of northern Dutchess County.
Carvel Country Club is closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you in 2012!
