Nearly 50 Years of Golf Memories!

In the early 1960's Thomas Carvel had a dream of building a championship golf course that he, his friends, the local community and people from nearby cities could enjoy with easy access. By 1968 the dream became a reality and the Thomas Carvel Country Club opened.

Carvel Country Club, with its 18 hole championship course, is located in northern Dutchess County. Carvel's challenging layout will test even the most discriminating players while it will encourage others to play their best round.

With a complete range of amenities, Carvel offers a fully stocked Pro Shop, driving range, putting green and golf instruction. The "Top of the Nine," the course's eatery, has a full bar and restaurant and is available for banquets.
